Lowery Demolition were entrusted with delivering the works involved with creating the new connection for Thames Tideways new super sewer. The link from old to new being corked by a 15m heavily reinforced concrete plug, and steel plate liner, removing this creates the pathway for connection.

The Lowery team worked 24 hour patterns utilising specialist equipment from the M O’Brien fleet to make light work of the heavy demolition carried out 60m under the bustling city of London! The specialist Hitachi ZX135-5 SRF Tunnel Spec excavators being the primary driver for production on this project.
