M O’Brien was really pleased to be invited by Costain to its A30 project wide safety stand down day in Cornwall. Supporting the project with both Plant Hire services and Drainage installation sub contract works M O’Brien is playing a strong supporting role in the delivery of this important scheme.

Conducting red zone training to raise awareness of people plant interface and showcasing our latest simulator technology that is used to both train new apprentice operators as well as upskill experienced drivers in new attachments. We have been using the simulator intensively for GPS machine control training, emulating the cab kit experience provided by both the Trimble Earthworks and Leica icon cab kits.

It also goes down well as a fun challenge for everyone involved!
